2019 Recap - What Were We Upto This Year?

As a new year, and a new decade begins, it’s time for a good ol’ recap! 2019 was an awesome year for us and we like to think we fulfilled our resolution of bringing you a better, faster and more diverse design platform. A complete solution for all your design and marketing needs. But it doesn’t end here. We’re aiming even higher in 2020 and can’t wait to continue this journey with you.

Let’s take a look at all the cool things we achieved in 2019.

1. 76,000+ new templates 

PosterMyWall has something for everyone and we want to make sure you find what you’re looking for. In 2019, with the help of our awesome Design Community we released 76,000 new templates. From teaching aids like lesson planning, weekly planners and timetables to Christmas and Halloween templates, we covered every niche and popular theme. 

2. Find templates faster

Not only do we want you to find what you’re looking, we want you to do it in seconds! The gallery now has a handy sidebar on the left which allows you to browse templates by size. You can switch views between browsing by theme, or browsing by size from this drop-down.

We’ve also added sub-categories in each theme which allows you to find exactly what you’re looking for. Find your perfect designs within seconds with our updated gallery.

3. 80+ new fonts

It was high time we added the much demanded bold and italic options to our fonts offering, but we went over and above to bring you more styles as well. We added 20 new fonts, and over 60 italic, regular, bold, light, and italic bold variants. Whew. That’s a long list. Take a look at some of our cool new fonts here.

4. 500,000+ new stock content

If you don’t have the resources to shoot your own images or videos, or want to give your designs a more polished look then you’ll know the importance of great looking, professional stock content. In 2019, we’ve added more than 500,000 new images, videos, audio clips, shapes and clipart to make your designs pop even more. 

5. Audio clips

This is a big one guys. We got you great quality images, then amazing hi res videos. What was next? Adding some fun tunes to them of course! You can upload your own audio files or choose from a wide variety of stock. Promoting your band’s next gig? Upload your latest soundtrack to your invite. Making a scary halloween design? Add a witch’s maniacal laughter or the sound of a bubbling cauldron to it. You can even add tunes, jingles music, or sound effects to your image designs and download them as videos. Like music to your ears, isn’t it? ;)

6. Download designs with transparent backgrounds

Your business might be small but promoting it is no small feat. Branding is a crucial element of marketing your products, services, events, organisation, and basically everything! And branding is incomplete without ... logos! Logos are now a breeze to make on PosterMyWall. And that’s not all. With transparent backgrounds you can design amazing Snapchat Geofilters too. 7. Save hours of your day

Yikes, is it just us or did the 2010’s pass by too quickly? Time is your most valuable asset and we at PosterMyWall want to make your tasks as seamless as possible - our saving and downloading flows just got much faster. And yes, we might be Sonic fans.

And how could we not mention our new scheduling feature when talking about saving time? 10. Unlimited creativity

11. Ultra high definition videos

Sounds like a superhero? These are super videos! Ultra High Definition videos, or 4K videos have four times the resolution of the standard video download we offer. You can now create and customize your own 4K videos from the PosterMyWall editor. These look awesome on TV screens for digital signage in your restaurant, store or venue. 

12. Halloween and Christmas calendars

Last but not the least, the Holiday guides. The tail end of the year is super hectic for all the marketers out there - and to make your seasonal social media marketing a breeze for you, we came up with the perfect solution. A day to day calendar for October and December filled with free templates, tips and ideas on what to post on your social media pages during the Halloween and Christmas peak season.
